Bram Newman
Kinesiologist
Bram has been working as a kinesiologist since his graduation from UBC Human Kinetics in 2008, with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics – Kinesiology and Health Science. Since his second year at UBC, Bram has been involved with elite athletes working as a trainer with the Varsity Football and Men’s Basketball teams. Bram has developed skills in injury prevention and high performance strength and conditioning. Having played hockey for over 17 years, Bram has experienced elite level training first hand and has used his experiences as an athlete to grow, develop, and add to his abilities as a trainer and kinesiologist. Bram is currently the head trainer for the Delta Ice Hawks Junior Hockey Club and is in the process of attaining his CSEP-CEP certification.
Highlights to date in Bram’s life include participating in the Vancouver Canucks pre-season fitness testing, and earning his degree from UBC.
